Holy Family Council 4179 is located on beautiful Lake Springfield just south of Springfield, IL and just west of I-55, exit 88. We currently have approximately 330 members from over 10 different Catholic parishes.

As with all Knights of Columbus Councils, Holy Family Council is actively involved in many charitable projects including, but certainly not limited to, the annual Tootsie Roll Drive for people with disabilities; fundraising and food donations to the Holy Family Food Pantry for indigent people; volunteering at and sponsorship of the Special Olympics; cooking and serving the annual Grandparents' Day Picnic at St. Joseph's Home (for the elderly); sponsorship of Sunday church bulletins at St. Joseph's Parish in Chatham and Little Flower, St. Katherine Drexel, and Blessed Sacrament Parishes in Springfield; donations to the St. Joseph's Youth Group to attend the Catholic Heart Work Camp; and donations to the Computer Bank of the Springfield Diocese.

Holy Family Council 4179 also strongly encourages fraternalism and family values by making its club grounds very family friendly. The grounds include horseshoe pits, a full set of playground equipment, a volleyball net, a basketball goal, picnic areas, and boat docks. Believing in our name, members are strongly encouraged to make their families full participants in all aspects of the Council and the club grounds.
